A wonderful 1950s bar cabinet by Paolo Buffa with stunning herring bone mahogany veneer on both front doors and the sides. Each door has two faux malachite panels with brass surround. There is the original brass key and lock, with brass escutcheon that opens to reveal a mirrored interior. Each door has mirrored shelves with brass holders for glasses and bottles.

The central cabinet has a mirrored top section with six mahogany drawers all with brass nobs and inlaid marquetry detail with another mahogany shelf below. The cabinet is mounted on four faceted pointed legs with brass tips and decorated around the tops with brass ormolu decoration. There is also an interior diffused light at the top of the cabinet that turns on when the cabinet is open. Re wired with new fittings and PAT tested.

This is a fantastic quality made timeless piece as you would expect from Paolo Buffa and in great condition and would sit well in either a contemporary or period interior.
